Easter

We are so blessed to have so much family in town. Easter was extra special this year for us, because our little Macy really started to grasp the true meaning of Easter. I love the innocence of a child's understanding. She asked a lot of questions and we did our best to provide the answers on a 4 year old level. We pray the Lord has planted some seeds in her little heart.
We did several egg hunts and got to spend time with a lot of cousins!
Our babies are just getting so big!! They are so fun!

Quick Trip to the Farm

We went down to our family farm for a night a few weeks ago with our dear friends the Collins. It is always great to be there, because the kiddos get to be outside and play as long as their little hearts desire! Of course they both had on their John Deer Shirts! :) And look at the weather! It could not have been anymore perfect,so beautiful. We serve such a creative God!

Grateful

It is so sad that I haven't updated our blog since December. Wow! Time flies. My sweet husband got me an I phone for Valentine's Day, so I do most of my internet stuff on it! I'm rarely on my computer unless I am working on pictures!

We love to go on little family adventures on weekends and after dinner. These pics are from our outing to Two Rivers Park. It had been raining and it was a perfect place for Brady to put his rubber boots to good use! Oh how fun jumping in puddles can be.

We are so blessed! Humbled and grateful for our family and the memories we are making! God is good and He continues to teach us more about Himself and who we are in Him!

That is what the Penicks have been up to!

Happy Birthday Macy & Jesus!

As most of you know we were blessed with a Christmas Baby!! Four years ago Christmas Day!! My how time flies. I think more than ever the realization that you can't slow down time is sinking in. These little ones grow WAY too fast and there is absolutely NOTHING we can do about it.

We celebrated Macy's birthday a few weeks early and had a princess party (pics to come) and then we celebrated again on Christmas Day with family. We always sing Happy Birthday to Macy & Jesus. Many think it is a bad thing to have a Christmas Birthday, but we see it as a privilege. Our child shares a birthday with the King of Kings!

Our sweet Macy is four years old. She is so grown up! She really is my heart. I love her so much and am daily learning how to love and teach this little person the way that the Lord would want me to. She is super creative, LOVES anything princess, is dressed up about 90% of the time, is patient with her little brother, has a concept of Jesus and His love for her, can write her name as well as several other names and LOVES to dance. One of my favorite things that she has said about being 4 that I overheard her and Whit talking about..."Daddy, when I turn 4 will you still hold me?" Whit said, "Baby, I will hold you until you are 20!" So precious...made me cry!

Happy 4th Birthday our Sweet Macy!!

Much to be Thankful for!

My Little Pilgrims

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

Macy's Prayer Tonight

Tonight we were praying before bed and I asked Macy if there was anything she wanted to pray about. She told me she wanted to pray that Aunt Sis would feel better. (My sis-in-law had her 3rd child last week and we almost lost her in the process). So, she began to pray. "Dear God, please help Aunt Sis to feel better, PLEASE help her to feel better. God, thank you for my home and my toys. And God, next time, could you PLEASE give me a PINK house! Amen"

So precious! I love my sweet hearted little girl. She amazes me with her tenderness and then her little innocent prayers for a PINK house. I mean, what little girl would not want a pink house!! :)

Happy Birthday Brady Boo

My baby boy is 2!
Brady...my passionate, funny, smart, outside-loving, daddy's boy, adventurous, into everything, sweet, truck loving baby boy!!

The past two years have FLOWN by and I am so grateful. Grateful to have the opportunity to have this little man in our lives. He has stretched me and challenged me and made me see the yuck in me more than I EVER thought possible! We have loved every second with him and count each day as a gift (I confess that there are days I need to be reminded of this!). He keeps us on our toes and makes our home so much fun!

We celebrated his special day with family...Little Builder Style!
